If your research interest is closely related to the scientific profile and remit of the graduate school and is on another topic than the current call for scholarships, you can still do your PhD under the structured doctoral program. Read Guide for applicants carefully before submitting your application.
All applications that fulfil the eligibility criteria are assessed against our evaluation criteria. Please note that applications received via rolling intake are not financed by DLGS scholarships. Applicants who wish to carry out their PhD under the structured program at the graduate school must be able to secure funding for their studies. Candidates can either be self funded or funded by external sources such as other institutions, foundations and/or organizations. Applicants who apply for external funding should therefore inform us about deadlines by the funding institutions and other requirements that may be necessary.
Selected candidates are expected to enrol as a PhD student at TUD and participate in the programme and activities of DLGS.
Please note that DLGS raises no tuition fee neither does it provide any financial support for applications received via rolling intake.
